The temporary procedure provides for general approaches to ensuring the security of e-commerce goods, which can later be detailed within the national legislation.
In particular, during the experiments, the notification procedure will be applied to certain goods, and in relation to products placed under the customs warehouse procedure, the notification procedure will not be applied.
It is assumed that a foreign e-commerce participant will complete a security application for e-commerce goods within the lists for the notification procedure in the section with information on the specification of the goods.
"Implementation on the experiment based on unified mechanisms will allow us to develop the most effective concept for protecting the market from unsafe products sold on third-country marketplaces," pointed out Viktor Nazarenko, the EEC Minister in charge of Technical Regulation.
