Amendments to Program for developing interstate standards for technical regulation on food products
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted amendments to the Program for developing interstate standards for the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On Safety of Food Products" (TR CU 021/2011).
The total of 42 items was excluded from the Program, four of which due to their irrelevance, and for 38 of them the parties previously developed relevant interstate standards.
The development deadlines for 48 standards were postponed because of updating the national standardization plans in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation and the need to adjust the drafts.
In addition, the Program was supplemented with 17 items for the development of GOSTs, including methods for determining residual quantities of veterinary medicines (pharmacologically active substances and their metabolites) in food products of animal origin.
The Decision on adopting amendments to the Program shall come into effect after 30 calendar days have elapsed from the date of its official publication.
