Suren Melik-Israelyan appointed Deputy Director of EEC Customs Infrastructure Department
Suren Samsonovich Melik-Israelyan was born in 1971 in Yerevan.
He graduated from Yerevan State University (Faculty of Economics, Department of International Economic Relations). He is PhD in Economics.
From 2001 to 2024 his career was connected with the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia, where he rose through the ranks from Senior Inspector to Head of International Cooperation Department. From 2021 to 2024 he was Customs Attaché of the Republic of Armenia to the European Union and the World Customs Organization.
Since August 16, 2024, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Customs Infrastructure Department.
