26 Jul 2025 Bakytzhan Sagintaev congratulated Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez on National Rebellion Day Bakytzhan Sagintaev, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Board, congratulated Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba and Head of the Observer State at the Eurasian Economic Union, and the entire Cuban people on National Rebellion Day. “Owing to joint efforts, cooperation between the EAEU countries and Cuba, developing in the spirit of traditional friendship and trust, continues to strengthen in the interests of our peoples,” Bakytzhan Sagintaev emphasized in his congratulatory letter. On behalf of the EEC and in his own capacity, the Head of the EEC Board wished stable economic development to the Republic of Cuba, as well as prosperity and blessings to its citizens.

24 Jul 2025 Bakytzhan Sagintayev expressed condolences over the crash of a passenger plane in Amur region Chairman of the EEC Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev on behalf of the Eurasian Economic Commission and on his own behalf expressed condolences to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and all Russian people in connection with the loss of life as a result of a plane crash in Amur region. "With a feeling of deep sorrow I received the news of the tragic accident, which resulted in numerous human casualties," the telegram reads. "I share the pain of loss and express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims."

24 Jul 2025 Bakytzhan Sagintayev congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakytzhan Sagintayev has sent a birthday greeting to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, head of the observer state at the Eurasian Economic Union. "Under your leadership Uzbekistan has been consistently implementing the course on increasing economic potential, growth of welfare of citizens, is an active participant of Eurasian integration processes," the congratulatory letter reads. On behalf of the EEC and on his own behalf Bakytzhan Sagintayev wished Shavkat Mirziyoyev good health, well-being and further success in his responsible work for the benefit of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Using this experience, the EAEU will form other common markets - for finances, energy, oil and gas, and so on. 14 Dec 2016 Highlights of the speech by the Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan at the Conference of the EDB, published in the “Vedomosti” newspaper: “Overcoming under-integration” I believe there is huge potential for the economic growth in Eurasia, which has not yet been explored. And I think that the main tool that could greatly stimulate the economic growth in our countries may be this supranational institution which has been created. Because our main mission is to be able to summarize the best practices that have been accumulated in the countries, and basing on them, international experience, experience of the European Union we will have to introduce these new supranational institutions, which will stimulate the economic growth in our countries. The axiomatics which lie at the heart of our Treaty on the Union is as follows: If we create the common economic space, we will remove barriers, exemptions and restrictions, create conditions for the free movement of goods, services, capital, and labor, which alone will ensure great potential for the economic growth.
