29 May 2025 Arzybek Kozhoshev addressed participants of CIS CTM International Conference on Sectoral Professional Competence Arzybek Kozhoshev, the EEC Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure, delivered a video message to the participants of the International Conference on Professional Competence Requirements for Sustainable Transport Development. In his speech, the EEC Minister emphasized that professionalism plays an important role for the development of the industry, with a high level of competence being key to smooth operation of transport and transport infrastructure facilities. "Technological progress puts forward new requirements for the entire transport system, as transport operations are rapidly technologized, smart digital and intelligent solutions are introduced. Nevertheless, in all these endeavors, the role of specialists who ensure the sustainability and resilience of the transport system remains significant," noted Arzybek Kozhoshev. The Minister also shared that the EAEU countries are working to expand possibilities through mutual recognition of academic degrees in the Eurasian space. "Enhancing professional competence through international partnerships ultimately contributes to the growth of our economies and the region as a whole," the Minister emphasized.
26 May 2025 Elmira Arapova appointed Deputy Director of EEC Energy Department Elmira Arapova was born in Karagandy, Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1995, she graduated from E.A. Buketov Karagandy State University with a degree in international law; and in 2004, from Karagandy Financial Institute with a degree in accounting and audit. She started her career in 2000 in KTEK LLP. From 2001 to 2008, she worked in Karagandy Zhylu LLP. From 2008 to 2010, she worked at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Department of Oil Industry Development. From 2010 to 2024, she held senior management positions in the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From November 2024 to May 2025, she served as Deputy Director of the Department of Oil Transportation and Refining of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  Since May 20, 2025 she was appointed Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Energy Department
16 May 2025 Arzybek Kozhoshev: "Transport and logistics are key elements of sustainable Eurasian integration" During the plenary session of the 12th Global Logistics Conference in Dubai (UAE), Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister in charge of Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, made a report outlining the priorities for developing the transport and logistics space of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Minister emphasized that given the changes in the global economy, sustainable logistics chains, infrastructure interconnectivity and the digital transformation of the transport industry are of particular importance. These areas become the basis for enhancing the competitiveness of the Union's Member economies and their integration into the world markets. "Today, more than ever, concerted decisions and investment in infrastructure are needed. The establishment of efficient, seamless and digital logistics routes is a priority for both the EAEU and our partners," the Minister noted. Arzybek Kozhoshev also presented information on the ongoing work of the EEC in the field of transport and logistics, as well as the EAEU institutional initiatives: the introduction of electronic consignment notes (e-CMRs), the development of smart transport systems, the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for Developing Eurasian Transport Corridors. "Transport and logistics are the development driver of the modern world. Their reliability defines not only the speed of delivery, but also the stability of economies, food and industrial security and trust between countries," Arzybek Kozhoshev emphasized. The Minister expressed readiness to deepen the dialogue with partners to strengthen the global logistics architecture.
15 May 2025 Arzybek Kozhoshev met with Grace Sun, President of Global Logistics Alliance On the sidelines of the 12th Global Logistics Conference, being held in Dubai (UAE) on May 15-18, Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, held a working meeting with Grace Sun, President of the Global Logistics Alliance. During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of transport and outlined important areas of further cooperation, noting that the traditional platform of the Conference contributes to the development of Eurasian transport corridors and the implementation of priority integration infrastructure projects in the field of EAEU transport. "The Eurasian Economic Commission is open to dialogue, partnership and exchange of experience. We invite you to cooperate actively both at the level of strategic initiatives and within specific projects," noted Arzybek Kozhoshev. The two sides also discussed the possibility of holding the next Global Logistics Conference in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan) with the involvement of interested government agencies, international organizations and the business community.

Using this experience, the EAEU will form other common markets - for finances, energy, oil and gas, and so on. The BELTA journalist discussed with the EEC Board Member - Minister in charge of technical regulation Valery Koreshkov, what stages are yet to be covered and how the common market of medicines will work.​
06 Dec 2016 Interview of the EEC Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure Adamkul Zhunusov with Rossiyskaya Gazeta on pairing of the EAEU and SREB Russia, together with the other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), suggested more than 40 collaborative projects in the area of transport, claiming the co-financing of China. They should establish end-to-end logistics among China, the EU and the Eurasian Union and along related routes supplementing the main transport corridors of Eurasia (Western Europe - Western China, North - South, East - West, and the Northern sea route).
