The Eurasian Economic Commission's Energy and Infrastructure Unit ensures the implementation of the Commission's functions in energy policy, natural monopolies, transport, and transportation.
In particular, it shapes a coordinated energy policy on electric power, gas, oil and petroleum products, energy saving and the development of renewable energy sources. As part of this activities, the EAEU common markets for energy resources and indicative balances of gas, oil and petroleum products are being established on a phased basis.
